Gil Biran

Gil leads the Oscilloquartz business unit within Adtran, overseeing R&D, engineering, product management, business development and sales, as well as pre-sales and network design teams. Working closely with customers across telecommunications, ICP / data centers, utilities (power) and the financial services sector, he helps ensure synchronization quality of service in carrier-class network environments.

Gil is responsible for strengthening Oscilloquartz’s position as a market leader in synchronization by guiding the design, commercialization and adoption of products and solutions that enable emerging networking technologies and new service paradigms for network operators.

Prior to joining Adtran, Gil founded and led Biran Advisors as CEO and company owner. Before that, he was the founder, president and CEO of Axerra Networks. He holds a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
