Luis Gonzales talks best practices for broadcast network timing at WSTS

Presentation to feature an in-depth explanation of how cyberattacks and GNSS vulnerabilities can be countered across various deployment scenarios

  • Speaker: Luis Gonzalez, business development manager, Oscilloquartz, ADVA
  • Topics: Best practices in synchronizing IP-based packet broadcasting networks
  • When: Wednesday, May 11, 11:05 a.m. MT
  • Where: Workshop on Synchronization and Timing Systems: Denver Downtown Convention Center, Denver, Colorado, USA: https://wsts.atis.org/conference/register/

As broadcast networks migrate away from SDI-based-infrastructures, best practices need to be established for the synchronization of newer, IP-based packet networks.

In this presentation, Luis Gonzales will consider the need for robust architectures and examine deployment scenarios that leverage GNSS and PTP timing technologies to provide accuracy and protect broadcast networks against external threats. Register for the event beginning May 9.
