GENERAL INFO

The OSA 5225 Time Node is an accurate time centre, easily configurable with its outputs and dual synchronization inputs.

The OSA 5225 Time Node owns two configurable synchronization inputs for redundancy and several outputs. The time and date can be individually offset on each output.

Technical Information

Input/Output Flexibility
Dual external synchronization can be chosen on GPS, NTP, IRIG-B / AFNOR NFS 87500 1000 Hz or DCLS signals. Up to 3 synchronization outputs (IRIG-B, PPS, ASCII, 10MHz sine wave,…) all phase locked to the reference clock and individually configurable in offset and time zone.

Accuracy
Its own base time and its synchronization algorithm guarantee an output accuracy of up to 100 nanoseconds when GPS synchronized.

RSA SecuredSecurity
High security level : 64 bits RSA MD5 encryption, leap time protection, high stability time base, SNMP alarm traps, static relay alarms, supervision with HTTP and front display.

Remote Management
Possible supervision with HTTP, SNMP, Telnet, alphanumeric display. Complete configuration and supervision with WEB page or “OSCILLOQUARTZ Network Manager” Windows® NT/XP/2000 based software. Firmware upgrade by Ethernet.

Internal Time Base
The OSA 5225 Time Node has autonomy to provide a stable output time code even when external synchronization is lost. In case of power supply failure, the
OSA 5225 Time Node can run normally for 2 hours on its internal battery.

Software
“OSCILLOQUARTZ Network Manager” Windows® NT/XP/2000 based software for supervision and configuration of all OSCILLOQUARTZ TIMING devices.
