The Swiss PTT commissioned Oscilloquartz to supply a new generation of plesiochronous and synchronous equipment for hierarchy levels I and II of their digital communications network. Over thirty similar synchronisation systems were subsequently installed worldwide.
Oscilloquartz strengthened its position as one of the world's leading innovators by introducing a full line of Quartz and Cesium frequency standards as well as distribution amplifiers, phase comparators and frequency switching modules housed in the 19" rack standard enclosures.
